As part of a gradual change in its govt workforce, the French luxurious agency Chanel has employed three new directors, in response to paperwork filed with the UK’s Companies House.

Among the many many two appointees is Simone Bagel-Trah. The German entrepreneur joined Henkel AG & Co.’s supervisory board in 2001 and was appointed chairman of the patron merchandise and chemical agency in 2009.

Furthermore, since April 2014, Bagel-Trah has been on the supervisory board of Bayer AG, a pharmaceutical company.

Teresa Yuk Yin Ko, the founding companion of Freshfield’s Asia equity capital markets apply and the chairman of the company’s China division, joins Bagel-Trah on the Chanel board.

William Touche, a former companion and vice chairman of Deloitte UK, has moreover acquired a director nomination.

With the most recent onboarding, Chanel’s board can have an equal number of feminine and male members starting in April. This represents yet another important change throughout the agency’s administration, which appointed Leena Nair as CEO in 2022 and Matthieu Blazy as inventive director in 2024.
